When visitors do not have a visa issued by El Salvador, they must obtain a Tourist Card upon arrival (Fee: USD 10) in addition to the visa requirement.
Extension of stay is possible for a maximum of 90 additional days.

Minors (aged 17 years or younger) departing El Salvador must be accompanied by either a parent or guardian or a third person who must hold an exit permit (Permiso de Salida) (which must contain the following information: full name, age, profession or occupation, address, ID card number of the authorised adult, destination and duration of travel) and the minor's birth certificate and passport.

Nationals of Senegal with a valid visa issued by Canada, the USA or a Schengen Member State.
Entry and Transit Restrictions
Passengers and airline crew who have transited through or have been in China (People's Rep.), France, Germany, Iran, Italy or Korea (Rep.) in the past 30 days, are not allowed to enter El Salvador.
