Minors (aged 15 years or under) departing Latvia to a non-Schengen country, if travelling unaccompanied or with an adult who is not the minor's parent/legal guardian, must hold a letter of authorisation from the minor's parent/legal guardian which has been endorsed by a sworn notary; or if travelling with one or both parents/legal guardians the minor must hold their birth certificate.
