BREXIT:
On 31 January 2020 the United Kingdom withdrew from the European Union (EU) and ceased to be a member of the European Economic Area (EEA). A transition period of 11 months was agreed; therefore, entry regulations remain unchanged until 31 December 2020, i.e., regulations related to the EU and the EEA, also apply to the United Kingdom.

Females, having previously undertaken employment as artists or masseuses in Lebanon , irrespective of the length of time spent out of Lebanon, require prior approval from the Lebanese Immigration Directorate, except for: 1. wives of Lebanese nationals; or2. wives of Palestinian refugees residing in Lebanon; or3. wives of Syrian nationals, if accompanied by their husbands; or 4. those arriving with either one of their parents, brothers or children; or5. mothers of wives of Lebanese nationals. Marital status must be officially registered for more than one year.

Passengers with a passport containing any Israeli visa or stamp will be refused entry.
Passengers born after 1967 with a passport or other document accepted for entry stating Israel as place of birth will be refused entry.
Maids must ensure that their passport includes a departure stamp issued by the country they departed from.
Entry and Transit Restrictions
Passengers who have transited through or have been in China (People's Rep.), Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong (SAR China), Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea (Rep.) or Macao (SAR China) in the past 14 days, are not allowed to enter and transit Lebanon.
- This does not apply to:
-- family members of nationals of Lebanon; -- passengers with one of the following documents issued by Lebanon: an expired passport, a national ID card or a civil extract; -- United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) personnel.
