- Citizens of Senegal must get a Visa to visit Turkmenistan as tourist.
- Your Senegal passport must be valid for the duration of stay.

A special permit, issued prior to arrival by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is required if visiting the following places: Atamurat, Cheleken, Dashoguz, Serahs and Serhetabat (also for nationals of Turkmenistan).
Valid visas in expired passports are accepted, if accompanied by a valid passport of the same nationality. Immigration will, on arrival, transfer the visa to the new passport for a fee of USD 40.
